10 years ago I was an overtired mom of two babies, 10 years ago I was an overtired mom of two babies, working part-time, and supporting my husband through his grad school and career. My goals and dreams? I desperately wanted to return to college to turn my associate’s degree into a bachelor’s. I am ✨so grateful✨ I got that chance. In the last decade, I not only finished my bachelor’s but I also completed a master’s, moved my family cross-country 2x, gained extensive professional skills, and stepped into leadership opportunities. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. To any young parent out there wondering if the time and effort is worth it, take the risk 1,000x over. Yes, you will be exhausted. Yes, it will be flippin’ hard. Yes, you will break down and cry and question your choices. Yes, others will question you, too. Yes, you can and should do it.
